Marking System:

Students are graded in the following areas: attendance, proper dress, participation, cooperation/sportsmanship/effort, evaluation of knowledge (skill tests, written tests), fitness exam (fitnessgram)

Graduation Requirements:

Students are required to carry a minimum of 7 courses each year. Most students take 8. The minimum requirements for grades 9 through 12 are as follows:

  • English - 4 years
  • History - 4 years
  • Mathematics - 3 years (Through Algebra 2)
  • World Language - 3 years (same language)
  • Science - 3 years (Biology and one physical science)
  • Fine Arts - 1 year
  • Physical Education or Athletics - 2 years (six trimesters) (Athletic involvement in Sports, Dance, Cheerleading or PE)
  • Students in grades 9 to 12 are required to perform at least 20 hours of community service per year.

Campus features

Boarding for students grades 9-12 is offered in the Mayflower House, directly adjacent to the school campus. There are two floors to the dormitory with dorm parents on each floor. Student rooms are grouped into male or female apartments, each with a large shared bathroom. A common space, recreational and study areas, dining room and kitchen are available. Breakfast and dinner are served at residence, while lunch on weekdays is provided at school. The Seaver Building houses four levels of classrooms with science laboratories and the Pilgrim Arts Center includes classrooms for Theatre, Music, Dance, Ceramics, Sculpture, Fine and Media Arts.
